About Femme de Dieu
Femme de Dieu was inspired by our mother, Joan "Tula" Adams. Shortly after her diagnosis with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in December 2014, she introduced the idea that we should gather all her female offsprings, relatives, and friends. Her intentions were to impart Biblical wisdom and solid guidance to all of us before she passed. She initially viewed her diagnosis as a death sentence; however, her faith and love of family wouldn't allow her to accept defeat. She battled cancer for 6 years and ten months and succumbed to her illness on October 10, 2021. She fully embodied the vision, mission, and core values of Femme de Dieu.
Femme de Dieu is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our vision is to inspire women and girls to embrace Kingdom Living. Our mission is to motivate and strengthen women and girls, to live honorable and wholesome lives by incorporating Biblical wisdom and principles. Our core values are FAITH, FAMILY, FOOD, and FUN!
Our focus scripture is Proverbs 31:30,
“Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last, but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised”.
Following her death, The Holy Spirit prompted us to officially organize Femme de Dieu as a nonprofit organization, to reach beyond our backyard to other women and girls requiring the tools to live Kingdom-minded.
